in mind, one of the biggest fears most men have is “What if
I don’t like her or she doesn’t like me.” So, what are you going
to do if you get to Russia and unfortunately, the woman you
had planned to meet is not that “right” someone? Not the woman
you had imagined? Do you have a fall back plan or are all your
efforts going to go to waste?
Gentlemen,
if should ever get caught in this situation, don’t despair!
I have an idea for you and it is as old as time and works like
the ticking of a fine watch. Once you have arrived in Russia
and discovered the women you were to meet is not compatible,
use your God given instincts and do what men have done for thousands
of years - approach and pick up Russian girls on your own.
I know
that sometimes western men feel uncomfortable approaching women
in public places because in their countries many women don’t
appreciate being approached by a stranger and this can sometimes
cause problems.
But in Russia it is a very different situation. Many Russians
still meet each other by accident, whether it be on the public
transportation system, on the street, at a movie theater or
in any of the busy little shops.
Russian
women appreciate getting compliments from men and don’t see
anything strange or unusual if these compliments are given by
complete strangers. In fact, compliments from men make a Russian
woman’s day.
They are romantics and still believe in fairy tales.
The world
being in the state that it is, I know it is hard to believe
but even today, many young Russian girls and even adult women
leave their homes in the morning with hope of meeting their
“one and only” even if it is by accident. So, why not use this
approach while you are in Russia?
Western
men who understand the potential of a chance encounter in Russia
just plan their trip, buy a ticket and fly to Russia to find
their soulmate the old fashion way and guess what? Their chances
of being successful are very huge!
Men who
have used this “tried and trued” method of meeting women have
the opposite “problem” of meeting Russian women. Instead of
being ignored or admonished for being approached, women have
openly encouraged such attention that men have become spoiled
and find choosing that “one special woman,” difficult.

I am sure
that every man has his own idea about approaching and picking
up women. In theory it may seem a little bit awkward but if
you see the woman of your dreams, then your heart often times
leads the way to approach her without anyone’s advice.
But, just
in case you are a little rusty and need a gentle push in the
right direction, I have written this report offering you some
methods that work in Russia. Use your imagination to fit the
situation and make them work for you.
To start
off, approaching a Russian woman will be a lot easier for you
than for a Russian man. Why? Because you are a foreigner and
Russians are intrigued with foreigners and will be very polite
and friendly.
What about
the language barrier, you may ask. Don’t worry about this as
almost all Russians learn English in school and a large percentage
of them can get by in a simple conversation. When these women
get older, they tend to loose their English language skills
but I doubt that you want to pick up a Babushka (grandmother)
on the Russian streets.
Any place can be the right place to pick up Russian women, so
lets begin:
BEACHES
If you travel
in the summer, then you can find a lot of beautiful women on
the beaches. Russian summers are very short and everybody trying
to use this short period of time to lie on the beach and get
a summer tan. Beaches are a great meeting place for people,
young and old and can turn into a dating paradise for people.
Many of my Russian friends found their future husband on the
beach. One of my friends, who lives here in California, met
her American husband on the beach during his visit to Russia.
Stroll along
the beach until you see some one of interest and situate yourself
on the sand close by. Make eye contact, smile and state your
name, and ask her name. The fact that you will be speaking in
English will be a door opener in it’s self. Usually, this simple
trick is enough for a beginning conversation. Another, but more
bold method, would be to bring her a cold drink. It is very
hot on the beach .The rest depends on you.

ON THE STREETS
For a person
in a strange city, just standing on the sidewalk in any city
can be an easy way to meet a woman. All you need to do is tell
any woman you are “lost”, you need directions, etc; You can
even keep a map in your hand, obviously showing that you have
lost your way. By the way, you will lose your way very often,
so you won’t be lying.
Once you
get the directions you might say something like:
“Thank you so much but I am afraid that anyway it will be very
difficult to find this on my own. Do you have time to walk with
me and show me the way?” If girl doesn’t agree, then just give
her your card with your name and the hotel phone number and
ask her to call if she might have the time to show the city
to you. Or, just ask for her phone number and an opportunity
to see her again.
SCHOOLS
OF HIGHER LEARNING
Universities
can be a great place to meet unmarried young women. For example,
say you are interested in a woman who wants to be a doctor.
Go to the nearest medical school and look around. If you find
someone interesting, be prepared to make up a story such as
you are doing a little research for a friend who is thinking
of attending a medical school in Russia and you are there to
pick up brochures and information or, perhaps you have interests
in attending this school yourself because of some great program
they have. What ever your cover story is, make it plausible.
There are
women all over the campus and all you need is a sharp eye to
find a woman that interests you. Approach the woman you have
chosen and speak with her in English. This will immediately
get the woman’s attention (the fact that you are speaking in
English). You can explain your situation and ask her to be your
guide and show you the campus.
If the
young lady cannot show you around at that particular moment
ask her when it would be possible. You just might get an affirmative
answer. If you do, be sure to exchange contact information to
set up a time for you to continue with your potential relationship.

RESTAURANTS-BARS
Just like
in most western countries, bars and nightclubs are still great
places to meet the opposite sex.
What is interesting, in Russia, is that most restaurants switch
from dining to nightclubs during the later part of the evening.
A good chose of a restaurant is one that has dancing in the
later hours.
And, just
like at most nightclubs, asking someone to dance is always and
open door to getting to know a person. Many Russian women love
to go to these restaurant/bars to dance and meet men and just
to have fun.
FLOWER POWER
As in most
European cities, Russian cities are no different and you can
find many street vendors who sell flowers. Most of these vendors
are located on the busy streets filled mostly with women.
As with
flower vendors, many Russian cities have open cafe’s where you
can sit and enjoy coffee. The combination of the two is an open
invitation for finding a pretty woman. Let’s say you are sipping
coffee at one of these street cafes and a woman you find interesting
is seated near you.
This is
a great opportunity to go to the flower vendor and purchase
a single flower and return to the young lady’s table and offer
a token “A beautiful flower for a beautiful lady.” Most likely
she will be pleasantly surprised and the fact that you are a
foreigner doesn’t hurt the situation at all!
If she appears
shy or reserved about the situation, make you compliment and
offer her your card with your name and phone information of
where you are staying and invite her to give you a call.
Russian
women adore flowers and as most TV commercials say “A flower
says it all!”

CHIVALRY
IS NOT DEAD
Just being
a foreigner who is from a western country will draw attention
to you, but being “always the gentleman” will garner you a lot
of points.
Always try to put your best foot forward when trying to attract
a woman. For example, when stepping off a bus, offer your hand
to the young lady as she steps down!
Check the
weather often to see if it is going to rain. If the possibility
exists, carry an umbrella with you and by the off-change that
it does rain, you are prepared to extend shelter to some pretty
young thing caught without protection from the weather. If she
refuses to take shelter from your offer, what have you lost?
, nothing, but if she accepts now you have an opening to pursue
matters.
GIFT SHOPS
You will
be in shock how many stunning Russian women you are going to
see in Russia. They will be everywhere! So, don’t be surprised
if you meet an attractive woman who will be selling the morning
newspaper or some little souvenir in the kiosks.
If she
is working it doesn’t mean you cannot try to pick up her. Smile
at her when you buy something. Make her remember you, after
perhaps five to ten minutes return to her with a flower or a
candy bar in your hands. Thank her for the service, then present
the item to her with your card and phone number, all the while
complimenting her. At the same time ask her when she gets off
from work, ask for her phone number or ask for her to call you.
One major
caveat, be sure to look at her right hand (Russians wear their
wedding ring on the right hand), before you make any overtures.
Russian women are proud of their marital status and almost always
wear a wedding ring. Just remember that If a woman hasn’t a
wedding ring, it almost a 100% possibility that she isn’t married.
If you see a wedding ring on the left hand, it is mean that
woman is divorced and want to show this in a demonstrative way.
In other words she is most likely available. I hope these suggestions
will advance you chances of approaching and picking up Russian
women.
